Trucks Restricted From Stillwater Lift Bridge
STILLWATER, Minn. (WCCO) -- Starting Thursday, some trucks will not be allowed across the Stillwater Lift Bridge.
Inspectors with the Minnesota Department of Transportation found significant corrosion on parts of the bridge, which would affect how much weight the bridge can handle.
MnDOT set a 28-ton limit on vehicles crossing the bridge until crews can get in to make the necessary repairs.
The restrictions are expected to last about 10 days.
