PLYMOUTH, Minn. – Plymouth police are looking for help in finding a suspects connected to that city's latest homicide, after two other suspects were taken into custody.

Hans Madave, 19, remains wanted in connection with the shooting death of 17-year-old Yaseen Johnson.

Johnson was found shot to death in a car in a parking lot of an apartment complex in Plymouth Monday evening.

"The initial witness reports led out officers to believe that there were two suspects who fled the scene after the shooting occurred," said Plymouth Director of Public Safety Erik Fadden.

Police arrested two people -- one on Thursday, the other Friday -- but are still searching for Madave.

"The firearm that was used in this homicide on Monday night has not been recovered yet," Fadden said.

Police don't know if these teens all knew each other, but Fadden says the remaining suspect must be found to keep the public safe.

"I'm imploring you to please do the right thing and turn yourselves in to our officers immediately," Fadden said. "Yaseen was 17 years old, he had his whole life ahead of him. So you know, there's a family that's, you know, grieving right now and has a lot of questions. We have a lot of those same questions. There's a community and classmates and friends that, I mean, this isn't supposed to happen to anybody, let alone a kid."

If you see Madave, don't approach him. Call 911.

Dr. Daniel Bittman, superintendent of ISD 728, released this statement Thursday about Johnson's murder:

ISD 728 was shocked and saddened to hear about the tragic death of one of our students this week.  We are currently supporting students, staff and families with our crisis response team, which includes counselors and additional district-wide staff.  Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who are impacted, and we remain committed and available to each and every member of our ISD 728 family.
