State Patrol: Forest Lake Man Dies After Hitting Semi Head-On In Scandia
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A Forest Lake man is dead after a crash between a semi-truck and a pickup truck Wednesday afternoon in Scandia, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
It happened just before 3 p.m. on Highway 95 at Pilar Road. Victor Falkner, 86, was driving a Chevrolet Colorado when he crossed the centerline while traveling southbound on Hwy. 95, striking the northbound semi head-on.
Falkner was killed in the crash. The 43-year-old semi driver was not harmed.
The state patrol is investigating.
