State Patrol: 2 Hurt After Motorcycle Hits Cow In Superior (Wis.)
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two people were hurt, one seriously, after a motorcycle struck a cow early Sunday morning in northwestern Wisconsin, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Authorities responded at about 12:03 a.m. Sunday to a motorcycle crash on County Highway A at County Highway C near Superior. When officers arrived, the motorcycle had hit a cow near the intersection. The driver suffered severe head and internal injuries.
The passenger on the motorcycle suffered non-life threatening injuries. Both were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is investigating the crash with assistance from the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
