St. Paul Police Look For Suspect After Man Shot, Killed

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) – Authorities in St. Paul are searching for at least one suspect after a man was shot and killed Wednesday night.

Police responded to a report of shots fired just after 6:30 p.m. near the area of 3rd Street and Bates Avenue. When officers arrived to the scene, they learned that a 24-year-old man was the victim of the shooting and had been driven to Regions Hospital by friends. The man died at the hospital.

Authorities said they believe the shooting incident took place near 4th Street and Bates Avenue, and that the victim was near that intersection when he was shot.

Authorities have no suspects in custody at this time and are working to determine what led up to the shooting. The incident is under investigation.
