St. Paul Police Investigating After Dead Body Found In Home On Saturday

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The St. Paul Police Department says its homicide and forensic services units are investigating the death of a man on the city's west side.

The man's body was found inside of his home on the 200 block of Belvedere Street East on Saturday, according to a tweet from law enforcement.

A news release says St. Paul police officers and paramedics went to the residence just before 10:30 a.m. On scene the man was unconscious and not breathing. He was pronounced dead at the home after first responders tried unsuccessfully to revive him.

Afterwards, law enforcement says it secured the area and began canvassing the neighborhood for any evidence.

Anyone with information about what lead up to the man's death, and who may be responsible, is asked to call 651-266-5650.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office will identify him at a later date.
