St. Paul Man Charged For Shooting Car With Children Inside
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A St. Paul man is facing charges after shooting at a car with a woman and two children inside, according to the Ramsey County Attorney's Office.
Wendell Cameron Jackson is being charged with second degree assault for shooting the tires and rear windshield of a car belonging to his former personal care attendant, according to the criminal complaint.
The woman said she and her children were attending a barbecue at Jackson's home before the shooting. She and her children started leaving when Jackson got drunk and started arguing with other partygoers, she said.
Jackson then fired several shots at the car, including one through the rear windshield. One child received minor cuts on his face from the windshield's broken glass.
None of the shots hit the woman or her children. Jackson denied firing the shots to police, according to the complaint.
