St. Cloud Teen Charged With Criminal Sexual Conduct

ST. CLOUD, Minn. (WCCO) – A St. Cloud teen will be charged with criminal sexual conduct after he was caught having sex with a 14-year-old girl early Thursday morning, according to St. Cloud Police.

Authorities were called to the 1300 block of University Drive Southeast at about 2:38 a.m. Thursday on a report of a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot. When they arrived, they saw that a 17-year-old male was having consensual sex with a 14-year-old girl while in the vehicle.

Police said the girl was brought back to her parents' home and left in their custody. The male was taken ot the St. Cloud Police Department and released to his mother. The male is expected to be charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct because of the age differences between the two.

Authorities said there was also a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia found in the car during the incident.
