Sentenced: Woman Who Threw Baby Onto Snow Bank
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -– A Minneapolis woman who threw her baby onto a snow bank in March was sentenced Thursday to one year in jail.
Ashley Couch, 21, was sentenced to a gross misdemeanor.
Couch plead guilty in April to one count of child endangerment, for which she was charge after she threw her baby, who was only wearing a T-shirt, onto a snow bank following an argument with the child's father.
Couch left the baby on the snow bank, but the baby was rescued by a passer-by who witnessed the incident.
