Regions Names The Top Baby Names Of 2011
ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- Regions Hospital says that Sophia and Jayden were the most-chosen names for new babies delivered at their facilities in 2011.
According to Regions' Birth Center -- where nearly 2,400 new babies were welcomed this year -- everything old is new again, as new parents seem to be opting for vintage-sounding names.
The other major trend that nurses at the Birth Center noted was that traditional names are being given a fresh spin with new spellings, especially swapping in a "y" for vowels.
