Raising Blind Awareness While 'Dining In The Dark'
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- There's a unique fundraiser Tuesday night to support the Foundation Fighting Blindness.
Guests at "Dining in the Dark" will be eating their meal while wearing a mask that blocks out all light.
The idea is to give them some insight into the challenges that people who live with blindness or retinal disease face every day.
WCCO's Frank Vascellaro will once again be serving as emcee of the event.
"Dining in the Dark" will be held at the Hilton Minneapolis. The reception and auction starts at 5:30 p.m. and the program and dinner is at 7.
