Program Seeks Medical Equipment Donations For Schools
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- It's pretty common for high school athletes to suffer an injury, but some schools could use more medical equipment to help those kids recover.
Not all parents can afford access to the equipment necessary to recover from injuries sustained during sports activities.
Fairview Home Medical Equipment and the Institute for Athletic Medicine are working on a program to get people to donate braces, slings and immobilizers they no longer need so that student athletes might have access to them.
Chris Stanford talked with Lori Glover of the Institute for Athletic Medicine Wednesday morning about a program that helps. Watch the video above to see more about this program.
