Pro Football's 'Honor The Heroes' Tour Comes To Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Not everyone can make their way to Canton, Ohio to see the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and now they don't have to.

For the first time, some of the most celebrated pieces of NFL history are in Minneapolis as part of the "Honor our Heroes" road tour.

Inside the Minneapolis Convention Center, fans can see Hall of Fame memorabilia from some of the biggest names to ever play the game. That includes a jersey from Vikings safety Paul Krause and a hologram of Chris Carter's bronze statue.

"It's the history of the game that gets lost when you're watching prof football these days," Doug Domokos of Blaine said. "You forget where it started where it came from and how it evolved."

In addition to the memorabilia, young athletes also have the chance to hone their skills -- football fans get the chance to try the same drills used at the NFL Combine.

It all runs at the convention center through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $25.
