Police: Jogger Killed In Wright County Crash
OTSEGO, Minn. (WCCO) -- A jogger in Wright County was killed Thursday afternoon after a van crossed the center line, killing the pedestrian, according to the Wright County Sheriff's Office.
Authorities said the incident took place at 12:09 p.m. on the 8300 block of Wright County Road 19 in Otsego, Minn. A 2007 Toyota Van was traveling northbound, when it crossed over and hit a jogger on the southbound shoulder of County Road 19.
The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said, and the driver of the van was airlifted to North Memorial in Robbinsdale.
The names of both parties are being withheld pending notification of family. The incident remains under investigation by the Wright County Sheriff's Office.
