Plumber Pleads Guilty To Molestation Charges

ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- The owner of a Minnesota plumbing company pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct on Wednesday in Ramsey County District Court.

Randall Ostebo, 53, who owned People's Plumbing, had been accused of tricking a St. Paul mother to leave the room of a house so he could molest her 2-year-old daughter.

Court documents state he exposed himself to the toddler last December and forced her to touch his genitals. Ostebo was alone with the girl after telling her mother to help him by going to the basement and putting water in a boiler.

Ostebo's family turned him into authorities after they say he confessed to that crime and a similar incident that happened in 1990.

He was convicted of that crime and sentenced to 30 days in jail and probation. Ostebo faces up to 25 years on the latest charges and is scheduled to be sentenced June 2.
