Patrol: Pickup Truck Hits Pedestrian Near St. Cloud
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 21-year-old man from St. Augusta suffered serious injuries early Sunday morning after being hit by a pickup truck on Highway 10 near St. Cloud.
The State Patrol said the pickup truck struck Jessie Lehmeier shortly before 1 a.m. as he was walking in the intersection of 15th Avenue Southeast and Highway 10.
Crews brought Lehmeier to a hospital in St. Cloud. His condition is not known.
The patrol identified the driver of the pickup as 37-year-old Michael Kiviahde.
Road conditions at the time of the incident were dry.
