North Minneapolis Shooting Victim ID'd
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities have identified the victim of a shooting that occurred Wednesday afternoon in north Minneapolis.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 25-year-old Derrick Elijah Rodgers.
The medical examiner ruled the death a homicide, the cause of death being multiple gunshot wounds.
The shooting occurred around 3:30 p.m. at Oliver Ave North and Olson Highway Service Road.
Minneapolis police are still investigating the shooting.
