Police: Woman Dead, Man Arrested After Nursing Home Stabbing
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man is in custody after a fatal stabbing at a nursing home in central Minnesota.
A woman was stabbed around 8 a.m. Saturday at the Heartwood senior living community in Crosby, according to police. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A man at the scene, later identified as 37-year-old David Michael Otey, was taken into custody. Police said it appears the woman was an employee of the facility and Otey is a relative of hers.
Authorities did not identify the woman.
