Mpls. Police: 3 People Injured In Separate Shootings
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Three people were shot in two separate incidents early Saturday morning in Minneapolis.
Police say the first shooting happened at about 4:30 a.m. near the area of 35th Avenue North and Bryant Avenue North. The victim, who was shot in the buttocks, was taken to North Memorial Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
The second shooting was about one hour later in south Minneapolis. Police say two people in a vehicle were approached by someone they knew, who then opened fire on them. Both of the victims were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Minneapolis police say both shootings are being investigated, and no one is in custody yet. They also say there is no threat to the public.
