Minnetonka Leukemia Survivor, Bone Marrow Donor To Appear On Ellen
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Minnetonka woman who received a life-saving bone marrow transplant will appear on Ellen Tuesday afternoon.
At 15, Greta Hokanson was suffering from leukemia when she received a bone-marrow transplant from a man in Arkansas named Danny Daniels. The transplant saved Hokanson's life.
This October, Hokanson got married. At her wedding she had a special dance with Daniels.
Now, the pair will appear on Ellen during Ellen's 12 Days of Giveaways.
