Take A Pie In The Face In The Name Of Charity

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minnesota's largest food drive of the year is underway right now. It's the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign.

Burnsville's 360 Communities has been helping individuals in Minnesota for more than 40. From food shelves to domestic violence shelters to resource centers, 360 Communities helps thousands every year.

This year, to help raise money for March FoodShare Month, schools or businesses can take part in the "Pie In The Face" challenge, and one group of high school students is up to the challenge.

WCCO is hosting a phone bank Wednesday to support Minnesota FoodShare's March Campaign.

Volunteers will be standing by to take donations over the phone beginning at 6 a.m.
