Medical Examiner: St. Louis Park Man Shot Dead In North Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities said a 31-year-old St. Louis Park man was shot to death and found in a car in north Minneapolis on Monday.
Minneapolis Police said officers were called at about 2:10 p.m. Monday to the 2300 block of Russell Avenue North on a report of a man slumped over in a vehicle. When they arrived, the man was pronounced dead.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner identified the victim Wednesday as Marcus Tyrone Hunter. He died of a gunshot wound to the chest and the incident was a homicide.
Authorities are still seeking a suspect in the incident, and anyone with information should call Minneapolis Police at (612) 692-8477.
