Judge Denies Request To Play Abuse Victims Videos In Parishes
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A judge has denied the request of three clergy abuse victims to show a video in Minnesota parishes urging other victims to disclose alleged abuse.
Late last month, three victims of clergy abuse created a video asking other victims to come forward.
An attorney for the victims made a plea that the video be shown in parishes across the state in hopes that more victims would come forward.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Robert J. Kressel denied their request this Thursday.
