Human Bone Found In St. Paul Park
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police are investigating the discovery of a human bone in a St. Paul park.
A father and son discovered a portion of a bone while walking in Battle Creek Regional Park Friday morning, Mike Ernster of the St. Paul Police Department said. They called the police, who searched the area but found no other remains.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner examined the bone and determined it was human.
Police don't know exactly what part of the body the bone is from, but mentioned it could possibly be part of a skull, according to Ernster.
The medical examiner is still investigating the bone. Police are waiting for the examiner's report before continuing with the investigation.
