Freezing Drizzle In Metro Leads To Slippery Morning Commute
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Freezing drizzle has made for icy and slippery driving conditions throughout the metro Wednesday morning.
It's led to several crashes and spin-outs. The Minnesota State Patrol says there were 114 crashes and 36 vehicle spin-outs or off-road incidents between 5 a.m. and 11 a.m. Seven of those crashes involved injuries.
The freezing drizzle follows light snow that fell earlier in the morning.
