Woman Dies After Falling Off Horse In Otter Tail County
UNDERWOOD, Minn. (AP/WCCO) — A woman has died after falling from a horse in Otter Tail County Wednesday afternoon.
Sheriff's officials say 48-year-old Kirsten Laney of Underwood was riding with a friend in the woods near her home when her horse was suddenly spooked.
Laney then fell from the horse and suffered a fatal head injury.
Officials say the two friends had been riding for 30 minutes before the incident.
