Threat leads to early dismissal at Elk River High School Tuesday, district says
Officials with ISD 728 in Elk River, Minnesota, say students were sent home early Tuesday morning from the city's high school due to a reported threat.
Students were released from Elk River High School at 10:45 a.m. "out of an abundance of caution," according to district leaders.
All after school activities have also been canceled for the day.
