Customer, 85, Killed At St. Paul Recycling Co.
ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- An 85-year-old man was killed when a skid loader crashed into him while he was unloading cans at a St. Paul recycling company.
According to the St. Paul Public Information Officer, the accident happened at Alter Metal Recycling at about 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
The victim was identified as Jack McCoy, of Hastings, Minn. He was unloading cans from the back of his pick-up truck when a worker driving a skid loader backed into him.
McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The worker was not arrested.
Police don't suspect drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
