St. Paul Bus Driver Wins $1M Powerball Jackpot
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A St. Paul bus driver quit his job after hitting it big in the Powerball lottery game.
Metro Transit driver Joseph Woods did not call in sick Monday, but rather called in "rich" after winning $1 million.
Woods says the winnings were enough to go from semi-retired to really retired.
He bought the ticket at the M&H gas station on Arcade Street in St. Paul.
There have been a number of winning tickets sold at the station, including a $61 million jackpot in 1999.
