Pedestrian killed in overnight hit-and-run in Brooklyn Park, police say
A driver hit and killed a pedestrian in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, early Tuesday before leaving the scene, according to police.
The Brooklyn Park Police Department said the crash happened around 1:20 a.m. at Highway 252 and 73rd Avenue North.
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating. The agency said the suspect vehicle is a dark gray Toyota RAV4, made sometime between 2016 and 2019. The vehicle has damage to the door rain guard and the front bumper on the passenger's side, and is missing its mirror and fog lamp on that side, the patrol said.
