Brooklyn Center PD: 2 Teens Arrested In Air Jordan Shootings
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two teenage boys are in custody in connection to the shootings outside of a Brooklyn Center Foot Locker store Saturday morning.
Police say the juveniles had gotten into an argument with other people in line to buy the new Nike Air Jordan shoes. One or both of the teens opened fire, shooting two people.
Authorities are asking for witnesses who recorded the incident on their cellphones to contact police at 763-503-3203. Witnesses can also call CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or email police at this address.
The Hennepin County Violent Offender Task Forces assisted with the capture and arrest of the teens.
