Bicyclist, 82, Dies After Being Hit By Car
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Officials say an 82-year-old bicyclist died Tuesday morning after being hit by a car in Minneapolis.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office said Allen Gerald Knutson, of Columbia Heights, died of multiple injuries he suffered in the collision near the intersection of Stinson Boulevard and 37th Avenue Northeast.
The car hit Knutson shortly before 6:30 a.m., and four hours later he died at Hennepin County Medical Center.
Minneapolis police are investigating the collision.
