The Edina Art Center has been promoting art and creativity in the community for over 30 years. With classes that are tailored for all age groups, including teens and adults, Edina Art Center offers something for everyone. Children can take classes that vary in art forms. Some of the most popular classes include photography, pottery, painting and drawing basics. Local artists volunteer and teach at the Art Center and a gallery displays community art for all to enjoy. Directors Michele and Amanda host weekly classes for preschoolers and school-aged children as well as camps, events and birthday parties. I Heart Kids' Art is an open studio dedicated to encouraging creativity in the youth of the community. Classes are structured for ages 8 and under and focus on childhood development and motor skills. The studio houses easels, art tables, numerous art supplies, and a wide variety of materials for children to explore and create with. Classes are drop-in and fit easily into busy schedules. There is even an area for parents to hang out while children enjoy the class. I Heart Art also offers a weekly story time with an art project that ties into the story and a yoga class for young yogis.

A kid-centered environment that focuses on childhood development, creativity and fun, Kiddywampus offers art classes throughout the week and summer for locals. The weekly art classes typically include those for children as young as 1 and other classes for older children. Parents participate in the classes designed for the younger population and help to encourage messy play and creative exploration. An open studio is available throughout the week for ages 18 months to 10 years to come in and make use of the studio's art supplies.
