BBB Warns Of Bogus Job Posting Targeting U Students

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A job offering $300 a week for less than six hours of work sounds too good to be true.

And the Better Business Bureau says it is.

A University of Minnesota student contacted the BBB after receiving a job posting from a group calling itself Hydrock Incorporated.

The BBB says it's believed this is a bogus job offer, and that the people posting it are only trying to scam students to get personal information to possibly steal their identities.

Students at a handful of other universities have also received the email.

The Better Business Bureau says there is a legitimate company called Hydrock, but they're located in England and not affiliated with this warning.
