Some Metro Cellphone Users Experienced 911 Outage Overnight

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Some cellphone users in the metro had issues with 911 overnight.

Both the Minneapolis Police Department, which is in Hennepin County, and the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said T-Mobile, Sprint and Boost Mobile users weren't able to reach certain dispatch centers.

The issue started around midnight and lasted for about an hour-and-a-half.

WCCO is working to learn what might have caused the issue.
