4 Escape Apple Valley House Fire Unharmed
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Four people escaped an Apple Valley house fire unharmed Saturday evening, authorities said.
The Apple Valley Fire Department said that the home's owner saw smoke coming from the house, located on the 14000 block of Hanover Lane, and called 911. Several neighbors also called 911, the department said.
The department is still not sure as to how the fire started, and it said there is no obvious sign that it was set intentionally.
The family, however, is looking for a place to stay, because the home did sustain severe smoke and water damage, the department said.
