3 Men Charged In St. Paul DNR Building Burglary

ST. PAUL (WCCO) -- Three men have been charged with felony crimes Thursday in connection to the break-in and burglary of the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) building in St. Paul, according to the Ramsey County Attorney's Office.

Timothy Keith Heidenreich, 39, was charged with one count of third-degree burglary and is in custody on other charges. Terry Kendale Cotton, 27, and Shane James Rylander, 29, both of St. Paul, were charged with one felony count of possession of stolen property.

According to the criminal complaints, the three men broke into the DNR building on Jan. 10,2011 and stole $40,000 worth of property, including outboard motors, power tools, computers and 20 animal mounts.

Police recovered the stolen property after Heidenreich called Cotton from the Washington County Jail and warned him to sell the power tools and computers, as well as the "stuff" that was in a van parked close to Cotton's St. Paul home.
