2 Teens Dead In Head-On Crash Involving Alcohol
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Two teens were killed Tuesday evening in a head-on crash in Meeker County.
Travis J. Monson, 19, and Zachary Rohrbeck, 16, both of Watkins, are dead after the sedan Monson was driving collided with a pickup truck on Highway 24, near Litchfield.
The State Patrol detected that the 27-year-old driver of the pickup had consumed alcohol.
The pickup driver and a 16-year-old friend of Monson's suffered non-life threatening injuries. They were taken to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
