13-year-old boy shot late Monday night in Minneapolis
Police are investigating after a 13-year-old boy was shot in Minneapolis late Monday night.
According to Minneapolis police, officers responded to a ShotSpotter report shortly after 10 p.m. A 13-year-old boy then arrived at the 700 block of Van White Memorial Boulevard with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital. Police have not made any arrests.
The Minneapolis boy was the first of three shootings overnight in which young people were injured in the Twin Cities.
Two 13-year-olds in St. Paul were shot in the leg around 2 a.m. Tuesday, police say. They are expected to survive.
