Alina Garcia sworn in as Miami-Dade's new elections supervisor

Morgan Rynor reports this is the first time in 66 years that voters selected the person for the role. Previously, the supervisor was appointed by the county's mayor. In 2018, a state constitutional amendment made the position an independent, elected office.
