Nobody hurt after small plane crashes into the water in Boca Raton, police say
An investigation is underway after the Boca Raton Police Department said a small aircraft crashed into the water late Saturday morning.
Police said the single-engine plane hit the water near South Ocean Boulevard around 10:25 a.m. The sole occupant was uninjured but taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
Boca Raton Police said its Marine Unit and the U.S. Coast Guard will remain on the scene. The FAA is en route.
