Motorman with Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office injured in crash, officials say

A motorman with the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office was rushed to a hospital late Wednesday morning after being involved in a crash, officials told CBS News Miami

According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, units responded to reports of a crash in the area of southwest 127th Avenue and southwest 120th Street in southwest Miami-Dade.

MDFR said that one adult trauma alert patient was being taken by ground to a hospital. Officials told CBS News Miami that the motorman, who hasn't been identified, is expected to recover.

No other information was released.
