Firefighters Tackle Warehouse Roof Fire In Pembroke Pines

PEMBROKE PINES (CBSMiami) - Pembroke Pines firefighters made quick work of a fire on the roof of a warehouse facility in the western part of the city.

The warehouse, at 1111 NW 209th Avenue, is a Cintas facility for uniforms and carpet & tile cleaning service.

Chopper 4 over the scene spotted the fire in a corner of the building at one of its air conditioner units. A large section of roof had been scorched from the flames.

Firefighters attacked the flames by fire using a ladder truck and two firemen on the roof with a hose.

The building's employees were evacuated as a precaution. There are no reports of any injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
