Dry and breezy end to South Florida workweek
It's a warm and breezy end to the South Florida workweek, a few isolated showers are possible.
Friday got off to a mild start with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. The afternoon will be breezy and warm with highs in the lower to mid-80s. Wind gusts up to 25 mph are possible.
The breeze could bring a few isolated showers in the morning and afternoon, but anything that develops will be brief and not severe. The mostly dry conditions will continue over the weekend as well.
Due to the onshore breeze, there's a high risk of rip currents at Miami-Dade an Broward beaches through Saturday evening.
Saturday and Sunday will be similar to Friday with highs hovering around the mid-80s.
Looking ahead to next week, the chance of rain will slightly increase by Monday and Tuesday with just a 20% chance for stray showers to kick off the new workweek.
