Build-A-Bear Recalls Stuffed Animal That Poses Choking Hazard

MIAMI (CBSMiami) — Build-A-Bear has announced a precautionary recall for a stuffed animal that could potentially harm children.
A seam on the Starbrights Dragon toy can open up allowing for the stuffing to be exposed and pose a choking hazard, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission Thursday.
An estimated 33,600 people bought the recalled dragon, which was sold in stores and online between April 2015 and August 2015 for about $25. The dragon is covered in a blue furry fabric with a silver satin tummy, feet, wings and horn.
The tracking label ends with 9333 or 9334 in the United States and 9337 or 9459 for Canada. The label can be found sewn on the backside of the leg.
The recall is a preventative measure. No injuries have been reported.
Customers who purchased the toy can take it to any Build-A-Bear Workshop store to receive a replacement.
