The broadcast of Ed Sullivan's show when the Beatles played was actually their second performance that day. The band played for a live audience earlier in the day, before appearing live from Miami for a satellite performance. The band played six songs including "She Loves You," "All My Loving," and "I Want To Hold Your Hand."

Kravitz enjoyed widespread success behind the smash hit, "Are You Gonna Go My Way." The guitar-driven and Hendrix –based song drew acclaim, but also criticism because some felt it lifted too generously from Jimi Hendrix's song, "Voodoo Chile." Similar to Green Day's sound, NFG has secured a devout following thanks in large part to the band's highly energetic live shows. The band had three straight albums to chart on the Billboard 200 and all would eventually become gold records. Their fourth studio album, "Catalyst," charted the highest of any albums when it reached number 3 in 2004.

While the name might not immediately strike you as familiar, he's the leader of the group, KC and the Sunshine Band. Originally from Opa-Locka, he would go on to attend Hialeah High School and Miami-Dade Community College. He hit it big in the 1970's with the Sunshine Band enjoying massive hits like "Get Down Tonight," "That's the Way (I Like It)," "Shake Your Booty," and "I'm Your Boogie Man."

Deborah "Debbie" Harry

Harry, born in Miami, was adopted and moved to New Jersey at three-months-old. She would go on to form the band "Blondie" and chart smash hits including "Heart of Glass," and "One Way or Another." She was a regular at Studio 54 in the 1970's and later released the song "Call Me" from the American Gigolo film soundtrack.
