Barrios Arrested For Missing Court Re: Dead Boater

MIAMI (CBS4) -- The man suspected in the death of young man who drowned in a fourth of July boating incident in Biscayne Bay was arrested Friday for missing court on manslaughter charges.

Eulices Barrios, 38, faces a manslaughter charge in the death of Domingo Vilalta, 22 whose body was fished from the water in July. Domingo Vilalta, who had been missing since going overboard after a day of cruising with friends on two boats.

Barrios failed to show up for his court date despite a $50 thousand bond.

For the family, there still is no closure.

"We miss him so much, and that's all we can do for him now," said a young woman who did not give her name in July. "He was so young," she said, weeping.
