Texas would need to hire more than 5,000 licensed school psychologists to meet minimum recommended ratios.
The funding comes after suicide rates among California kids jumped 20% between 2019 and 2020. Tom Wait reports.
"I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior," the 29-year-old actor star said.
The tour began in June and was slated to run until August 2023, with shows in North America, the U.K. and Europe.
The new three-digit number is easy to remember and instantly connects callers with operators who can help with crisis counseling and other important services.
The number directs callers to trained counselors for free and confidential emotional support 24 hours, seven days a week.

Pejhmaun Iraj Khosroadbadi enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 2008 and was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010. His family said that five Marines he was close with were killed in action, one recently died of a heart attack, and two committed suicide — one of whom, a sergeant, took his life three days ago.
