In a Facebook post, CEO Mark Zuckerberg said the new verification system called "Meta Verified" will cost $11.99 month on web or $14.99 a month for iPhone users.

Earlier this month, Trump's presidential campaign asked Meta to reinstate him on the social media platform.
The post has more than 69 million likes, topping the previous record-holder: a 2019 photo of a brown egg.

While both accounts were still visible as of Sunday evening, several posts had been removed.
A self-proclaimed "super hacker" took over Disneyland Resort's Instagram and Facebook pages early Thursday morning, making several posts filled with racial slurs and expletives before they were deleted less than an hour later.
