Woman In Critical Condition After Hancock Park Hit-And-Run

HANCOCK PARK (CBSLA.com) — A woman was in critical condition Monday after being struck by a hit-and-run driver in Hancock Park.

The crash occurred around 10:45 p.m. Sunday at Wilshire Boulevard and Hudson Avenue, police said.

The victim was transported to Cedar-Sinai Medical Center where she was put on a ventilator for head trauma.

She was being considered a Jane Doe because she had no identification on her.

She was described as in her mid-20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 90 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

The suspect was reportedly driving a dark sedan.

Wilshire Blvd. was closed between Keniston and Hudson until about 2 a.m.

No further details were released.
